Standardize To Diagnose And Therapy On Patients With Epilepsy And Predict The Prognosis Through Factors

Objective:To investigate standard diagnosis and therapy and disease outcome on patients with Epilepsy, develop models to assess the individual prognosis through the factors. To approach influence between standard diagnosis and therapy and prognosis.Method:200 patients had been randomly checked from that with Epilepsy were collected between January 2004 and July 2008 in Neurology Clinic of The First Affiliated Hospital of GuangXi Medical University, a database was made with Microsoft Access 2003.200 Patients'diagnosis and therapy meets international standards, they must regularly check blood routine.hepatic and renal function. Electroencephalogram(EEG).therapeutic drug monitor. Follow up and according to further consultation and medicine taken,200 patients were divided into standard group and nonstandard group. According to seizure frequency, two groups were once more divided into five groups:significant effect(Seizures decreased 75% or more).effective(Seizures decreased 51～75%).less effect(Seizures decreased 26～50%).no effect(Seizures decreased 25% r less) and worse(Seizures increased). Through one factor analysis and multivariate Logistic regression analysis, to prognosis between the influential factors and the Epilepsy.Result:In one factor analysis, five groups have statistic difference in course of disease, etiology, EEG discharges (the first time), compliance, standard diagnosis and therapy(P≤0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis screened out such factors including EEG discharges (the first time), compliance, standard diagnosis and therapy predictors for prognosis of epilepsy.Conclusion:Standard diagnosis and therapy is critical for patients with epilepsy. The patients with EEG discharges(the first time),bad compliance nonstandard diagnose and therapy had a worse prognosis.
