Objectives: This paper aims to analyze the patient's long-range video EEG data,Summed up the ictal EEG activity of patients, intermittent EEG activity, clinical features,to explore the clinical value of video EEG in epilepsy,non-epileptic seizures, and epilepsy positioning. Methods: Retrospective analysis of the First Affiliated Hospital of Suzhou University,Department of Neurology,October 2013 to August 2016,212 cases of paroxysmal symptoms of clinical manifestations of patients with video EEG data,Were divided into two groups,99 cases of epilepsy group and 113 cases of undiagnosed group.Comparison of the two groups of patients with the onset of seizures, including at least one time to wake up the sleep cycle of EEG data,To provide the basis for the diagnosis of epilepsy and non-epileptic seizures,to analyze the relationship between epileptic discharge and sleep cycle,to classify epileptic seizures,to identify epilepsy syndrome, and according to the ictal EEG,the intermittent EEG on origin of the focal epilepsy.Result:1,epilepsy group,99 patients underwent video EEG monitoring of epileptic discharge in 79 cases, accounting for 79.8%(79/99),38 cases of clinical manifestations, accounting for 38.4%(38/99),which epilepsy as a result of 32 cases,non-epileptic seizures in 6 cases,of which 1 case of epilepsy with psychogenic non-epileptic seizures, and the remaining 5 cases of psychogenic non-epileptic seizures.2,In the undiagnosed group,113 cases of epileptic discharge were observed in 29 cases, accounting for 25.7%(29/113),13 cases of clinical manifestations, accounting for 11.5%(13/113),and epileptic seizure in 1 case,non-epileptic seizures in 12 cases,of which 2 cases of epilepsy with psychogenic non-epileptic seizures,7 cases of psychogenic non-epileptic seizures,1 case of sleep disorders,2 cases of paroxysmal dizziness.3,Epilepsy patients with sleep epileptic discharge rate was higher than the awake epileptic discharge rate, the two were statistically significant;epileptic seizures synchronized brain electrical activity, performance from the background activities into rhythmic activities, showing the characteristics of dynamic changes.4,Classification: 33 cases of epileptic seizures,6/33 for the simple partial seizures,19/33 for the complex partial seizures,8/33 for the partial seizure secondary comprehensive attacks;33 cases of epileptic seizures,13/33 clear diagnosis of epilepsy syndrome,9 cases of temporal lobe epilepsy,4 cases of frontal lobe epilepsy.Location: 33 cases of epileptic seizures,19/33 to locate, including: 9 cases of temporal origin,4 cases of frontal origin,3 cases of frontal temporal region,1 case of frontal temporal region,2 cases of occipital temporal region.108 cases of epileptic discharge,46/108 can be located,Including 22 cases of temporal origin,4 cases of frontal origin,3 cases of occipital origin,13 cases of frontal temporal region,4 cases of temporal parietal occipital region.5,12 cases of psychogenic non-epileptic seizures were given "non-epileptic seizures" of the diagnosis, followed up for 8 weeks,1 case of the number of attacks than before the reduction,11 cases with the previous number of attacks.Conclusion:1,long-range video EEG improved epilepsy-induced seizure-like discharge rate.2,long-range video EEG can analyze the relationship between clinical seizures and ictal discharge, for the diagnosis of epilepsy, the diagnosis of non-epileptic seizures, especially diagnosis of psychogenic non-epileptic seizures to provide diagnostic basis.3,long-range video EEG can provide a diagnostic basis for the classification of seizures and the classification of epilepsy syndrome.4,long-range video EEG on the origin of epilepsy have a certain clinical value.5,negative diagnosis of psychogenic non-epileptic seizures without significant help.
