Objective:Aim to investigate the risk factors of of mortality related to cirrhosis associated with HBV.Materials and Method:The age, sex, duration, the inspection record and complications of 185 patients were recorded. All the patients were divided into two groups, the survival and the death groups.Compare all data between the two groups and try to find the risk factors for mortality.Result:(1)The average age of all patients was 50±10 years, mean age of survival group 50±9 years, mean age of death group is 50±10 years; mean age of man is 50±9 years, mean age of women is 48±11 years.Sex ratio of survival group is 3.03:1, Sex ratio of death group is 2.71:1.(2)There are 38 persons suffering from hepatic encephalopathy,30 persons suffering from hepatorenal syndrome,23 persons suffering from spontenous bacterial peritonitis,24 persons suffering from hyponatremia,16 persons suffering from uppergastrointestinal hemorrhage in death group. There are 30 persons suffering from hepatic encephalopathy,9 persons suffering from hepatorenal syndrome,13 persons suffering from spontenous bacterial peritonitis,25 persons suffering from hyponatremia,5 persons suffering from uppergastrointestinal hemorrhage in death group.(3) ALT,AST,Tbil,Cr,PTR,INR, APTTR,MCV and RDW-SD increased in patients with liver cirrhosis.CHE,ALB,PA, Na,PTA,Fib and HGB decreased in patients with liver cirrhosis. There were significant differences among the above index and the controls.ALT/AST,Tbil,Cr,PTR and INR of the Death group became much higher than the Survival group. Che,ADA, ALB,PA,Na,PTA,Fib,HGB of the Death group became much lower than the Survival group. There were significant differences between the Death group and the Survival group(P<0.05).(4) MELD score and MELD-Na score were 12.58±8.30 and 16.25±13.13 in the Survival group. MELD score and MELD-Na score were26.17±12.45 and 35.40±16.41 in the Death group. The scores of the Death group were much higher than the Survival group(P<0.05). (5) MELD-Na,MELD,INR,Tbil and Cr are the five most important f death-risk factors, and the accuracy decrease according the above consecution.. MELD-Na score and MELD score may be more usful for predicting the complications in patients with liver cirrhosis.Conclusion:1.Sex,age and duration are not the independent death-risk factors in patients with liver cirrhosis associated to HBV.2. MELD-Na,MELD,INR,Tbil and Cr are the five most important f death-risk factors, and the accuracy decrease according the above consecution.3.More complications, more death,in patients with liver cirrhosis.4.Increased MELD and MELD-Na scores can predict the occurrence of the complications.5.The more accurate predicting results may be gained by analysing MELD score, MELD-Na score and the other index.
