Design And Development Of A Clinical Practical Training Management System

With the rapid development of network technology, the Browser/Server (B/S) structure has been fully applied to many kinds of Internet-based Management Systems, such as Hotel Management System, Air Ticket Booking System, Course Choosing System and so on. On the other hand, among the medical colleges, there is lack of relatively mature clinical practical training network-based management system which can fully utilize the network resources.This paper is about the design and development of a B/S clinical practical training management system based on ASP technology. There are three types of people using this management system; they are clinical practical training student participants, the leading teacher of the clinical practical training college as well as the medical college administrator. Its main functions include: student information management, notification management, assignment management, training discriminating form management, training record management and so on.In conclusion, this paper mainly focuses on applying the relatively mature ASP technology on a relatively new domain with the following advantages: reduction of human resource and material resources, enhancement of handling speed, achievement of paperless office, and quality improvement of the practical training and so on.
