Objective:To evaluate the clinical value of interferential current therapy in prevention of urinary retention after radical hysterectomy.Methods:Patients in the study group received interferential current therapy at the third day after operation,and beat frequency was 100 Hz,once for 20 minutes,once a day, totally 10 times.The electro-acupuncture meridian point therapy was used at third day after operation in the acupuncture group,twice in one day,a 10-day course of every treatment. Non-therapy was used in the control group.The rate of urinary retention,residual urine volume,and so on,were Compared in these three groups.Results:The rate of urinary retention were 16.7%,20.0%,55.0%in study group, acupuncture group,control group respectively.The residual urine of study,acupuncture, control group were 73.27±78.20ml,67.70±45.90ml,155.20±77.90ml respectively.Compared with the control group,significant difference(P<0.00167) were found in the rate of urinary retention and the residual urine in the study Group or the acupuncture group.There was no significant difference between the study group and the acupuncture group(P>0.05).
