| Objectives:To observe the clinical efficacy of Chinese medical "Scar Ointment" which treat postburn hyperplasia scars and to explore the influence on proliferation of fibroblasts and metabolize of collagen by "Scar Ointment".Method:72 patients with scars were divided into two groups,Including "Scar ointment" group and "Ji xue gan shuang ointment" group,each group has 36 patients,who were treated for two months,comparation and analyse were carried out according to the changes of their symptom and physical examination.Result:1.All patients of two groups with itch and pain symptoms were distinctly improved,but the curative effects of "Scar ointment" group was obviously superior to "ji xue gan shuang ointment" group.(P＜0.05).2.The thickness and hardness of scars were markedly lower after treatment,but the curative effects of treatment group was superior to that of control group.(P＜0.05). 3.The levels of serum and urine hydroxyproline of the two groups decreased distinctly after treatment,(P＜0.01);But the degree of decreasing of treatment group was markedly higher than the control group.(P＜0.05).4.The scar tissue after 2 months treatment were extracted to HE stain,in the treatment group:the blood capillary of derma decreased,hyperemia alleviated,quantity of fibroblast decreased,components between fibroblasts decreased,elastic fibers were found;But the changes of the control group was not so obvious as the treatment group.Conclusion:Scar ointment has obvious effects on postburn hyperplasia scars,which can inhibit proliferation of fibroblasts and collagen synthesis.
