The Reason Analysis Of Unqualified Samples And Preventive Measures

Objective:To enhance the level of quality control before analysis, and find out the distribution and reasons for the unqualified samples.Methods: According to different projects and different times, the unqualified samples from 2007 and 2008 were made statistical analysis。We calculated the unqualified samples in the proportion of all specimens, and found out the reasons and times of the unqualified samples. Then corresponding countermeasures was taken for these reasons.Results: There were 1501 unqualified samples from 2007 to 2008, the total incidence was about 0.19%.The most unqualified samples were observed in the tests of micro-organisms, blood routine and clotting .The main reasons were contamination of the samples, improper way of mixing the samples and lake of the volume of samples. After training the nurses from those department with the most problems, the incidence of the unqualified samples was decreased.Conclusion: To reduce the incidence of unqualified samples and enhance the level of quality control before analysis, we should Train the nursing staff with the knowledge of sample-collection regularity and making clinical communication promptly .
