Questionnaire Of Patients' Satisfaction Of The Informed Consent And Physician-patient Relationship

Objective: It is to understand the current status of doctor-patient relationship and informed consent implement timely and exactly in social perspective, in order to improve doctor-patient relationship and provide crucial theory of establishing the harmonious doctor-patient relationship. Meanwhile, it is also an effective way for hospitals to improve quality of medical service, amend attitude of caring and build a harmonious society.Method: Totally 3,653 patients and their families were randomly selected to be objects of investigation who had been hospitalized during last three years resided in ten big cities of China.Informations were obtained by questionnaire on their satisfaction to hospitals and doctors'services.Results: Red phenomenon is due to the credibility crisis between patients and doctors, which aggravated the doctor-patient relationship. In reality, there are situations that patients refused treatmen after knew the facts, so doctors are caught in a moral dilemma. Medical disputes will increase if these problems couldn't be solved properly. In medical practice, doctors are not only the mainstay of medical proceeding, who are the overmatches with expertise compared to patients, but also the key of the solution of this conflict.Conclusion:Medical kickbacks and conflicts between doctors'obligations and patients'rights in informed consent are both main factors affecting the current doctor-patient relationship. Doctors are main bodies of medical performances, not only the forbidden of medical kickbacks, but also the effective and rational apply of informed consent are more rely on doctors. Therefore, by strengthening the construction of doctors' professionalism, it could solve the problems above, improve the tensional doctor-patient relationship and construct a harmonious medical environ- ment.
