Objective:During the out-patient clinics and wards from April 2008 to March 2009 in Henan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the First and Second Affiliated Hospital, Chinese medicine hospital in Anyang City and Anyang City People's Hospital ,300 cases of eligible patients were collected with fatty liver of TCM Syndrome epidemiological investigation, analysis of the distribution of their clinical characteristics, the discussion of risk factors of fatty liver and Syndrome and the correlation between objective indicators, and from a medical point of view to explore the causes of fatty liver and pathogenesis.Methods:300 cases on the issue of fatty liver in patients with epidemic survey of fatty liver in patients with a comprehensive collection of relevant information . Include gender, age, occupation , past history of major disease Hou ,eating habits, tobacco and alcohol addiction, after the card-type differentiation, recording their body mass index (BMI),liver function(ALT,AST,GGT),blood lipids(TG,TC),fasting blood glucose(FBG) and the B-test results. Finally, the data collected using statistical methods are classified and collated, statistical analysis, in order to carry out fatty liver syndrome differentiation of the epidemiological investigation and research. Cases information on the following analysis: get the general epidemiological information; selected cases were derived from TCM differentiation type; relationships of the card type and course of disease, age, gender; relationship of certification and body mass index (BMI); relationships of the card type and the objective indicators, that is, liver function, blood lipids, fasting blood glucose and B-sub-degree.Results:①Epidemiology of the general situation:300 cases of fatty liver in patients with average age of 42.77 years old, the age distribution in 30-50 age group the largest proportion(68.0%),male and female prevalence ratio was 2.45:1,the course in 2-5 years most(48.67%).A total of six kinds of evidence-based, followed by liver depression and spleen weak type, phlegm stagnation type, heat intrinsic type, phlegm and stasis intertwined type, liver and kidney deficiency type, undetermined type.Liver depression and spleen weak type in particular is the most common type(40.0%).Male patients with fatty liver, liver depression and spleen weak type accounted for the largest type; female patients accounted for a maximum of phlegm stagnation type. Course in 5 years, liver depression and spleen weak type accounted for a maximum.5-10 years, phlegm and stasis intertwined type and heat intrinsic type are the most. More than 10 years, liver and kidney deficiency type accounted for the most.②Common symptoms: the highest frequency of occurrence of symptoms before 10,followed by body fat, physical fatigue, feelings of depression, liver discomfort, weakness in YaoXi, thin soft stool, belly bulge, loss of appetite, dry mouth, insomnia.③The severity: B super deficiency results showed that fatty liver of liver depression and spleen weak type is often mild, phlegm stagnation type and heat intrinsic type were found moderate fatty liver, phlegm and stasis intertwined type is often severe fatty liver.④Relationship with obesity: the majority of overweight patients have fatty liver, patients in phlegm stagnation type with body mass index-based (BMI) increased the most obvious.⑤Relationship with liver function: phlegm stagnation type is the most obvious in patients with elevated ALT. GGT to phlegm and stasis intertwined type increased the most obvious.⑥The relationship between blood sugar and blood lipids: fatty liver patients with elevated blood lipids, triglycerides (TG) increased the most obvious. The most obvious increased in TG is liver and kidney deficiency type. Total cholesterol (TC) with phlegm stagnation type in patients increased the most obvious. Patients with liver and kidney deficiency type, fasting blood glucose (FBG) increased the most obvious. Conclusions:The survey of fatty liver has got a total of six kinds, in which liver depression and spleen weak type accounted for the largest. Patients aged over 30 years old -50 years old for more. Prevalence rate of males was significantly higher than women. Clinically, mild fatty liver is the most, mainly the liver depression and spleen weak type. The most severe rare among the phlegm and stasis intertwined type. The majority of overweight patients have a fatty liver, there is often accompanied by increased blood lipids, liver function with elevated ALT found. Some serological indicators related evidence-based. Phlegm stagnation type is most obvious in patients with elevated ALT.GGT to phlegm and stasis intertwined type increased the most obvious. The most obvious increased in TG is liver and kidney deficiency type. Total cholesterol (TC) with Phlegm stagnation type in patients increased the most obvious. Patients with liver and kidney deficiency type, fasting blood glucose (FBG) increased the most obvious.
