Research On Relative Theory Of Constitution With Stagnation Of Liver-qi & Menopausal Syndrome And Epidemiology

In order to discuss the occurrence relationship between the female menopausal syndrome and constitution, to seek for the best methods and the effective ways to preventing menopausal syndrome, acting physique of TCM as the start,the theoretical testimony to the function and position of constitution with stagnation of liver-qi in the occurrence of menopausal syndrome was carried on , and the clinical epidemiological research method is applied in the surveying and analyzing the 280 cases female patients with menopausal constitution and relative factors. It's result shows that :The occurrence of female menopausal syndrome has a close relation to the constitution with stagnation of liver-qi. The female depends on the liver-blood to nourish in the physiology, depends on the regulation of the liver-qi. For women the liver is the congenital base of life. After the several blood consumption, such as menstruation, pregnancy, delivery, and child-feeding, women's blood can not nourish liver. Deficiency of the liver regulation makes the physique with stagnation of liver-qi come into being. Depression frequently occurs to women, especially the women in the state of menopause are susceptible to form the liver-qi stagnation constitution. The wood with stagnation is easy to be broken. Due to the kidney-qi decreasing gradually, Tiangui running out, insufficiency of essential water, insufficient kidney water can cut the wood, the liver stagnation become more serious in the patient with constitution of liver-qi stagnation, when she reaches the age of menopause. If the liver, a key axis of qi-regulation, loses the control of conveyance, the human body's adoption will be degraded, which can lead to the imbalance of zang-fu-organs, qi and blood, yin and yang, as is the major cause of occurrence of disease. Deficiency of kidney–qi, consumption of Tiangui appeared in the menopause are just conditions of occurrence in the menopausal syndrome, while the liver-qi stagnation constitution is its root of occurrence , which is in the predominantposition and plays an important role in the occurrence of female menopausal syndrome. The result by clinical epidemiological research is further proved that the liver stagnation constitution is the frequently-occurring constitution in the state of female menopause, and is also the susceptible constitution of the menopausal syndrome.
