Clinical Research Of The Method Of Soothing The Liver On Post-stroke Depression

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the method of soothing the liver on patients with post-stroke depression(PSD)and compare the efficacy of Prozac treatment with application of PSD,So as to explore the advantages of Chinese medicine treatment of PSD.Materials and Methods:498 stroke outpatients and inpatients of Fujian Provincial People's Hospital have been observed.And 100 patients have been diagnosed as PSD.61 patients assessed as PSD according to the CCMD-3 diagnostic criteria were randomly divided into treatment and control group at the ratio of 1:1.31 cases in treatment groups were cured by XiaoyaoSan,30 cases in control groups were cured by Prozac.Chinese medicine used decocted machine manufacturer in Korea,One packet each,twice a day.Prozac was taken in the Morning, 20mg qd.Both groups of stroke accepted conventional therapy.They were treated for 6 weeks. The data were analyzed by SPSS13.0.Results:1.According to the HAMD(Hamilton depression rating scale),The clinical treatment effect was that 4 cases were clinical controlled(12.9%),15 cases had greater improvements(48.4%),6 cases had improvements(19.35%),6 cases had no effects(19.4%), The total rate of effect is 80.6%,The total rate of greater effect is 61.3%.In control group 3 cases exhibited clinical remission(10%),9cases had greater improvements(30%),10cases had improvements(33.3%),8cases had no effect(26.7%).The total rate of effect is 73.3%.The total rate of greater effect is 40%.There is not significant difference between two groups in the total rate of effect(P＞0.05).2.Side from the side-effects,the two groups were no serious adverse reactions.Patients taking Prozac minor adverse reactions,four people were thirsty and four had constipation,two people dizzyed.Conclusion:The study shows that the treatment of the method of soothing the liver has a good efficy,the total rate of effect is 80.6%,not superior to fluoxetine treatment efficacy in this disease.At the same time,compared with fluoxetine,no significant toxicity.This result validated further the predominance of the rule of regulating liver-Qi in tresting PSD,Chinese medicine treatment of this disease is worthy of further study.
