The Comparative Study Of Fixed-effects To The Distal Radius Fractures Between External Fixation And Small Splints

Objective:The fracture of the distal radius is the most familiar bone fracture in Whole body, inviting to occupy 17 percentage of whole bone fracture patient,is the common disease in the clinie.In this research through the study and compare the X - ray,To evaluate the superiority of the curative effects in treating distal radius fractures by splint immobility and external fixation.Try to provid some proves for the cures.Methods:This article reviewd the knowledge of distal radial fractrure in both ancient literature and modern medical research systematically .The subjects include 30 patients (from 2008.1 to 2009.2) from Jiangsu Province hospital of TCM.Divide these patients into two groups, treated by splint immobility (15) and external fixation (15).Observed 8 weeks. Measure the volar deviation,ulnar deviation and shortened size of radius in axial direction by X - ray.Every patient was evaluated by Lidstrom X - ray evaluate from.Results:Through the clinic reseach ,the result has shown difference between two groups in the volar deviation,ulnar deviation and shortened size of radius(p<0.05).The trial group has a good rate as86.67%,and the control group has a good rate as46.67% by evaluation standard of curative effect.Conclusions:The difference of them has shown that external fixation is better than splint immobility in volar deviation,ulnar deviation and shortened size.
