The Study On Effective Substance And Mechanism On Sanao Tang And Its Associated Prescriptions By The Ovalbumin-induced Asthmatic Model

Sanao tang and its associated prescriptions consist of three basic parts:ephedra, almond and glycyrrhiza.They are carried out on asthma with syndrome differentiation treatment.The project is studied effective substance and mechanism on sanao tang and its associated prescriptions by the ovalbumin-induced asthmatic model.Methods:To compare the effects on ovalbumin-induced asthmatic model of sanao tang and its associated prescriptions extracts by observing the asthmogenic latent periods, resistance of expiratory,the scores of ethology,the content of eosinophils(EOS) in peripheral blood,the percentage EOS,levels of Interleukin-4,5(IL-4,5) in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF) and pathology.Results:Among Sanao tang and its associated prescriptions treatment group,the large dosage of Sanao tang,the mid and small dosages of Sanao tang its associated prescription II,the mid dosages of Sanao tang's associated prescriptionⅠ;volatile oil of Sanao tang's associated prescriptionⅠandⅢ,water extracting-alcohol precipitating of Sanao tang's associated prescriptionⅠandⅡ;ethyl acetate extract of Sanao tang's associated prescriptionⅠandⅢ,n-butanol extract of Sanao tang and its associated prescriptionⅡcould not only prolong the delitescence and cut down the scores of ethology and resistance of expiratory but also reduce the content of EOS in peripheral blood,decrease the percentage of EOS and cytokines in BALF obviously and improve lung tissue pathological changes.Comparing with model group,there are significant difference(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).Conclusions:Different levels of extract on Sanao tang and its associated prescriptions can decrease lower the reactivity of air passage and the infiltration degrees of EOS by different degrees.In all of them,Sanao tang,Sanao tang's associated prescriptionⅠ(adding balloonflower),Sanao tang's associated prescriptionⅡ(adding Pinellia temate), especil the large dosage of Sanao tang,the mid dosages of Sanao tang's associated prescriptionⅠ,the mid and small dosages of Sanao tang's associated prescriptionⅡhave better effect in relieving asthma than others.Volatile oil and water extracting-alcohol precipitating extract on Sanao tang and its associated prescriptions are effective fraction. Volatile oil of Sanao tang's associated prescriptionⅢ(adding asarum)decreases the percentage of EOS in BALF more effectively,ethyl acetate and n-butanol extracts of Sanao tang and its associated prescriptions play an role in regulating immune and improving symptoms,especial Sanao tang's associated prescriptionⅠdeserves to be discussed continuously.
