Object: Analysis and comparate the glucose and lipid metabolism in phlegm and blood stasis syndrome patients with type 2 diabetes, to search the characteristics and differences of glucose and lipid metabolism in phlegm and blood stasis syndrome; reveals the dialectical rules of phlegm and blood stasis with diabetes, provide some of the more reliable objective indicators fo the clinical dialectical, and provide prevention guidance for the treatment of Chinese medicine. Methods: select patients with type 2 diabetes 285 cases in line with the requirements ,from the patients to get medical treatment in 2007.09 -2008.12 in Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine First Affiliated Hospital of Endocrinology. Differentiate into four groups (no phlegm and blood stasis group of 60 cases, pure phlegm group of 50 cases, pure blood stasis group of 75 cases, phlegm and blood stasis phlegm group 100 cases)accordance of the standards of Chinese and Western Medicine, but in order to better compared the characteristics and differences of glucose and lipid metabolism in patients with type 2 diabetes,we only select three groups of no phlegm and blood stasis group of 60 cases and pure phlegm group of 50 cases and pure blood stasis group of 75 cases of 185 cases to comparative study.â‘ Compared three groups patients' gender, age, course of disease, and BMI;â‘¡Compared FPG, HbA1c, FINS, HOMA-IR, TC, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C and hemorheology of three groups;â‘¢Compared complications of three groups. Results:â‘ Age and course of disease have significant difference among the three groups in patients no phlegm and blood stasis group , pure phlegm group and blood stasis with type 2 diabetes(P <0.05).
