Objective To investigate the pathogeny distribution of UGB and its relationship with sex, age and other correlative factors。Methods 127 UGB cases who had been confirmed by endoscope in our hospital from 2008. 1to 2008.12 were studied and analyzed。Results The most common causes of UGB was duodenal bulb ulcer, andthen were esophageal gastric varices, gastric ulcer, bleeding gastritis, gastric cancer and multiple ulcer in turn. The middle age group had more cases of UGB than the older and younger group. Male patients with UGB were more common than female patients.Conclusions Duodenal bulb ulcer is the most common causes of UGBand the next were esophageal gastric varices and gastric ulcer. The occurrence of UGB was in correlation with age and sex. The middle age group had more cases of UGB than the older and younger group.
