| Objective To abserve and compare the effect between manipulation with external plastic&elastic splint fixation and internal fixation treatment of extensional supracondyla fracture of humerus in child.To discuss the mechanism of manipulation with treatment of extensional supracondyla fracture of humerus in child by external plastic&elasticil splint fixation.Methods The cases were divided into 2 groups randomly.30 cases of experimental group were treated with manipulation with external plastic&elastic splint fixation;30 cases of the control group were treated with open reduction and intersectional fixation of pins.The time of bone healing and function of recovery were compared and elbow of varus was dealed with by statistics after all the cases were followed up for 6-16 monthes.Results The result showed that the fructure reduction of the control group is superior to the experimental group,but the time of bone healing of experimental group was more little and the function of recovery was better as well as the occurrence of elbow of varus was lower than that of control group.Conclusion extensional supracondyla fracture of humerus in child can be treated by manipulation with external plastic&elastic splint fixation well.
