Objective:To study the expression of CXCR4 and NF-κB p65 in chronic cervicitis and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) and cervical carcinoma,as well as their relationship with the development and metastasis of cervical carcinoma. Methods:Immunohistochemistry S-ABC method was used to detect the expression of CXCR4 and NF-κB p65 in cervical cancer(48cases),CIN(9cases) and chronic cervicitis(9cases)Results:The positive rate of CXCR4 in chronic cervicitis,CIN and cervical carcinoma were respectively 0%(0/10),14.3%(2/14),68.75% (33/48).The differences between chronic cervicitis group and group of cervical cancer,as well as the differences between CIN group and group of cervical cancer were significant statistically(p=0.000, p=0.000,p<0.001).In cervical carcinoma, the expression of CXCR4 was related to lymph node metastasis, and had no relations to clinical stage, histological differentiation, pathological type and age.The positive rate of NF-κB p65 in chronic cervicitis,CIN and cervical carcinoma were respectively 10.0%(1/10),35.71%(5/14),75.0%(36/48).The differences between chronic cervicitis group and group of cervical cancer,as well as the differences between CIN group and group of cervical cancer were significant statistically(P=0.000,P=0.005,P<0.05).The expression of NF-κB p65 was related to clinical stage, histological differentiation and lymph node metastasis, and had nothing to do with pathological type and age.In cervical carcinoma,CXCR4 protein and NF-κB p65 protein expression was positively correlated.Spearman correlation coefficient is 0.671(p=0.000).Conclusions:1 CXCR4 expression may be associated with the genesis and development of cervical cancer, which indicates the malignant transformation of cervical calls.2 The expression of CXCR4 is possiblely related to lymph node metastasis, the lymph node metastasis may be mediated by SDF-1/CXCR4.3 The abnormal expression of NF-κB p65 may be related to the genesis and development of cervical cancer,NF-κB p65 is related to the invasion and metastasis of cervical carcinoma.4 The expression of CXCR4 and NF-κB p65 may work in coordination to promote the metastasis of cervical carcinoma.
