Objective:To analyze the risk factors associated with postoperative cognitive dysfunction(POCD)in elderly patients undergoing noncardiac surgery.Methods: To analyze the morbidity of postoperative cognitive dysfunction in 158 elderly patients(60 years old and older),from Jan.2007 to Jan.2009.Result: POCD was present in 30 of the 158 patients. Age,a history of alcohol abuse,intraoperative blood pressure were predictors of cognitive impairment.Conclusion:Age,a history of alcohol abuse, intraoperative blood pressure are the risk factors for POCD.
