Study On Extraction And Component Analysis Technology Of Extracts From Rhizoma Alpiniae Officinarum

The root of Alpinia offtcinarum Hance, called Ganliangjiang in Chinese, is one of the most commonly used traditional Chinese medicines for the treatment of gastrointestinal tract regulation, smooth muscle spasmolysis, immunoloregulation, antioxygen, tumors, diarrhea, and inflammatory diseases.The major chemical constituents of Ganliangjiang are favonoids and diphenylheptanes. Modern pharmacological studys indicate Ganliangjiang has potential significance to the treatment of IBS and is possible to be a active drug for IBS.Irritable bowel syndrome,(IBS)a serious threat to human health in worldwide public health problem, seeking an effective drug for treatment of IBS has been on the hot spots.In this study, in order to maximize the efficacy of treating IBS, based on the use of traditional Chinese medi -cine with modern pharmacological research results, the process for comprehensive extracting the active ingredient is designed. And extract is purified, in order to develope a new type Tradi -tional Chinese Medicine for treating IBS.In this study, Orthogonal experiment are used, the optimization extraction process is chosed to comprehensively extract the active ingredients for treating IBS. Enlarging the certification test proves that the extraction technology is basic stability.In order to concentrate the valid target and achieve the the goal of separation and purification, the author compare the macroporous resin and membrane separation techno -logy with traditional water precipitation to purify as the material, according the cost and feasibility, confirms the best Purification Process for alcohol abstracts ultimately, which contain flavonols and heptanes more than 50 percent.Application of HPLC and PDA detector as well as LC/MS and other advanced analytical tools, a preliminary study on the main ingredient in extract of Rhizoma Alpiniae Officinarum is took. The main ingredient in alcohol extract of Rhizoma Alpiniae Officinarum is flavonols and heptanes.According to the requirements in the appendix of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2005 version 2, the quality analysis of the extract is carried on, including extract traits, identification, inspection, determination and so on. The content of flavonols is determined by UV, while the content of heptanes is determined by HPLC. The experimental conditions exploration and methodological survey are carried on, this method can determine the exact content of samples.
