A Clinical Observation Of Yi Ren Decoction Combined With Western Medicines In Treating Active Ankylosing Spondylitis

Objective:1,To observe the clinical symptoms,inflammation of the efficacy of target of Yi Ren Decoction combined with western medicines in treating active ankylosing spondylitis(AS).2,To study the therapectic valuc of clcaring damp and dredge the mcridian passage method in trcating active ankylosing spondylitis(AS).Medthods:50 AS out and in patients in our hospital,wcre enrolled in this research..All patients were consistent with the New York criterions revised in 1984.Disease activity was assessed by the criterion of Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Index(BASDAI). Patients were divided randomly into two groups:the observed group(n=30),abjected Yi Ren Decoction combined and conventional therapy of western medicines treatment,and the controlled group(n=20),abjected conventional therapy of western medicines treatment,the syndrome,clinical sign and blood data were recorded in first visiting and 2-month later including BASDAI,asscssment of physician and patient,erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR),C-rcactive protein(CRP),blood routine,liver function,renal function.The pillow-wall distance,modified Schober test and chest expansion were recorded.At last,all above-mentioned index and laboratory data were analyzed by SPSS 13.0 for windows.Results:1,After treatment,the observed group was superior to the controlled group in the total curative rate(93.3%VS75%),which had significant differences between the two groups (P＜0.05)2,After treatment,The syndrome and clinical signs were improved significantly between the two groups besides the pillow-wall distance,modified Schober and chest expansion.The comparison results of the difference before and after treatment about the observed group and the controlled group were BASDAI(1.17±0.215VS0.78±0.165,P＜0.05);patients with the disease score(2.10±0.297VS1.05±0.344,P＜0.05);Doctor of disease score(2.23±0.278 VS1.25±0.298,P＜0.05);morning stiffness time(17.00±3.076VS4.75±3.234,P＜0.05).3,The laboratory index,ESR,CRPof the two groups had significantly differences before treatment and 2-month treatment later.Between the two groups there was significantly differences.The data were ESR(mm/h)(21.54±3.937VS-6.05±4.887,P＜0.05);CRP (ng/ml)(27.56±28.198VS6.67±5.487,P＜0.05). 4,There was no serious adverse effects in both groups.Conclusions:1,The therapeutic efficacy of conventional therapy of western medicine cooperated with traditional Chinese medicine of Yi Ren Decoction in treating active AS is superior to conventional therapy of western medicine.2,The clearing damp and dredge the meridian passage method is supposed to be effective in treating active AS,it worth to further research.
