BackgroundCoronary heart disease (coronary heart disease, CHD) among the crowd is a very high incidence of cardiovascular disease, poses a serious threat to human health, are of the view that its incidence is more than the joint role of genetic and environmental results, atherosclerosis is The main pathological changes, in addition to epidemiological studies has been recognized as a common risk factor for coronary heart disease (smoking, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and hyperhomocysteinemia, etc.) in addition, in recent years, serum adiponectin and the relationship between coronary heart disease at home and abroad have also been widespread concern in the literature. Adiponectin is found in recent years only by the fat cells secrete a protein, has anti-atherosclerosis and improve insulin resistance, anti-inflammatory and anti-intimal hyperplasia after injury, the protection of vascular endothelial cells such as the role of [1] , and its plasma concentration and the level of obesity, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease have a certain relevance. In this study, patients with coronary artery disease by detecting plasma adiponectin levels, adiponectin further explore the clinical significance of coronary heart disease.Objiective To study the relationship between adponectin level and coronary artery disease(CAD) in subjects,we measured plasma adponectin concentration in patients with CAD and examined whether adponectin level is significantly associated with CAD prevalence after adjustment for well know CAD risk factors ,evaluate the correlation between adponectin and the extent and severity of angiographic CADPatients. Methods In 60 patients with angiographically proved CAD and in 60 age-matched healthy controls,we measured the concentration of adponectin in plasma ,the body mass index(BMI),blood pressure, total triglycerides, total cholesterol,high-density lipoprotein(HDL),low-density lipoprotein (LDL),blood glucose, and the CAD Gensini cumulative index.Results1.The concentration of adponectin in plasma was significantly low(p<0.05) in CAD case[888.52±311.45ng/ml]than in control subjecs [1219.87±569.49ng/ml].2.logistic regression analysis showed adponection was the important risk factor in patients with angiographically proved CAD (OR=0.100,95 % CI0.010~0.985,P=0.048).3.The correlation between plasma levels of adponection and the Gensini cumulative index in CAD is obvious(p=0.022).Conclusion1.Low levels of adponection in plasma are importantly associated with the presence of CAD in patients.2 The extent and severity of angiographic CAD in patients was associated with plasma levels of adponection.
