The theory of Value Chain is the efficient tool to research on the competitive advantages since Michael Porter published it in 1980s.The theory of the Value Chain is adopted in all the fields and takes the overwhelmed advantages over the competitors.The Value Chain starts with the customer and ends with them,therefore, it's strategically important for the enterprises management.The further the reforming of Health System develops,the more the medical market opens,and the severer competition in the market is.As we all know,the quality control is the core of hospital management.As a part of the medical services, the pharmaceutics is the main field for the hospital to provide the pharmaceutical services and plays an important role to make sure the quality and safety of the leechdom and to improve the efficiency of the medical.For some reasons,the quality control of the hospital pharmacy can't meet the requirement of the pharmaceutical services.The paper analyses the current situation of hospital pharmacy and the problems and challenge to face to in the reforming of Health system.It also analyses the inner and vertical value chains of the hospital pharmacy by the theory of Value Chain and discusses services and management of hospital pharmacy based on the Value Chain Management.By the discussion,we can find the following:The pharmaceutical service consists with the theory of Value Chain.The Pharmaceutical service should be attached the importance to the value creation with the core of patients.It is very important for improvement of the value of pharmaceutical service to change role and service orientation of Licensed Pharmacist,strengthen the serving thought and skills of pharmacist,improve enlarge services.The changes of pharmaceutical management require us to make the pharmaceutical knowledge and expertise catching up with the time development. The pharmacists' professioncy should be made full use and the pharmacists should be encouraged to attend the whole chain of the hospital medicaling so as to make the "Five Rights" come true,that is,Right Patient,Right Medicine,Right Dosage,Right Way and Right Time,in every fields related to the medical using in the hospital.,so that the value of pharmaceutical services could be improved.The paper will contribute to the guidance and reference of quality control of hospital pharmacy.
