| Glossoscopy is one prevalent way to diagnose and treat in traditional Chinese medicine.Purple-red tongue are common in the clinical.It is of major clinical significance in cuing the severity of pathogenetic condition, signifying the turnover of disease and guiding the treatment actively.Objects:In so many factors of the purple-red tongue formation,it is to find its most important and relevant one or more factors and to explore its mechanisms,and to provide theoretical support for further clinical and experimental researches.Methods:Adopting systematic sampling way,to gather relevant informationof in-patients in department of internal medicineof Eight hospitals in Harbin,selecting 1/3 patients in each section randomly to shoot the picture of purple-red tongue,sum up the statistics and draw with the most closely related to indicators with purple-red tongue.Results:The survey identified a total of 614 patients,there were 596 copies of effective information the last and to 0.30 percent inefficient.343 male patients,accounting for 57.60%;253 female patients,accounting for 42.40%.The survey found that:the occurrence of purple-red tongue disparate in different age groups,with a higher ratio of purple-red tongue in 50-70-year-old in-patients there.The probability of purple-red tongue emergence were different in different section office.with More proportions in Respiratory and cardiovascular sections,followed by oncology and neurology,purple-red tongue has a stronger correlation with hyperglycemia, and significant differences(P＜0.05);There is no statistical significance with fibrinogen,triglycerides,cholesterol,high density lipoprotein,serum potassium,hemoglobin,hematocrit,WBC,RBC,platelet count,blood urea nitrogen,creatinine,carbon dioxide combining power,blood pressure of oxygen(P＞0.05)Conclusion:perhaps hyperglycemia is an important factor leading to red purple-red tongue;Body fluid and blood-volume depletion is pathological and physiological component element of purple-red tongue creation.
