As the famous and precious traditional chinese medicine,Panax ginseng has been used in medical science clinical for more than 2000 years. At present the chemical composition of P.ginseng including panaxsaponin, carbohydrate, amino acids, vitamin, protein, opypeptide,,organic acid, liposoluble constituent and microelement.Modern pharmacy studies proves that the main active constituent of P.ginseng is ginsenoside, besides the P.ginseng it also contains other components such as panaxsaponin, volatile oil, amino acids, saccharide and microelement. At present,we have discovered more than 40 kinds of ginsengside and more than 20 kinds of amino acid, which including lysine that human body unable to composite, and this is also the base of P.ginseng playing significant role on human nutrition and health. The P.ginseng root contains more than 10%ginseng amylose.nearly 80%of them are ginseng amylum, and 20%ginseng pectin. The analysis proved that the ginseng also includes over 17 kinds of microelement, which have the great profit for human body. The element which occupying below the 1/10000of total weight of people calls microelement, and it also calls trace element, such as iron, copper, zinc, manganese, cobalt, chrome, selenium, iodine, nickel, fluorine, aluminium, vanadium, tin, silicon and arsenic and so on,and they occupy nearly 0.05%of total weight of people all.People discover that microelement has close relationship with the yield and quality of the active ingredient of the traditional Chinese medicine. For example, manganese is the moity of many kins of enzyme,it also participate or activate many kinds of enzyme in vivo, and can promote the calcification process of skeleton,it has close relationship with senility and disease of organism, and plays the important role on controling diabetes. This experiment used the roots of 4~6 year P.ginseng and their hizosphere soil as subject which gotted in the P.ginseng depot of Lu Shuihe from April to October of 2007.Getted the microelement content of copper, manganese and zinc of P.ginseng root and its hizosphere soil by using the way of atomic absorption. Studied the characteristic of development change of microelement content which from P.ginseng root and its hizosphere soil of different year, and analyzed the associativity and beneficiation disposition between P. ginseng root of different year and rhizosphere soil. The main conclusion were as follows:1.The variation of the copper content of rhizosphere soil of 4,5 and 6-year P.ginseng was coincident and offered the upgrade tendency. The manganese contents of rhizosphere soil of 4 and 6-year P.ginseng were nearly coincident in the period from April to October, the value was the lowest in April and was the highest in July, then dropped gradually, and the tendency was slowly. The variation of zinc content of rhizosphere soil of 4,5 and 6-year P.ginseng offered the tendency of low-high-low generally. 2.The element content which was accumulated by dry matter of P.ginseng of one kilogram added alone with the raised of the age of P.ginseng.The variation of copper content of P.ginseng root of each year offered the repetendum tendency of high-low alow with the variation of the harvested time. The variation of manganic content of P.ginseng root of each year offered the tendency of low-high alow with the variation of the harvested time.3.The variation of copper and manganese contents were stationary relatively, and the zinc content had significant variation.4.The element content which was accumulated by the dry matter of each P.ginseng root added alone with the older of age of P.ginseng.5.The relation of element content between root and soil is finer to show by power fuction.6.The beneficiation capability of element of P.ginseng root was copper>zinc>manganese.
