Observation Of Expression And Significance Of MCP-1 And TGF-β1 In Primary IgA Nephropathy In Children | Posted on:2009-01-14 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:H J Shen | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2144360275978265 | Subject:Academy of Pediatrics | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Object:observing the expression variation of MCP-1 and TGF-β1 in primary IgA nephropathy and discussing the significance of the expression variation.Patients and method:43 patients diagnosed as primary IgA nephropathy by renal biopsy from our hospital were included in this study. All patients had not been treated with glucocorticosteroid, cytotoxic drug and ACEI.The control group included 30 patients diagnosed as mild pathological changes by renal biopsy.Immunohistochemisty was used to detect the level of TGF-betal and MCP-1.Semi-quantitative scoring was used to evaluate MCP-1 and TGF-β1.Semi-quantitative integration was used to classify the degree of Tubulointerstitial damage. All of data were processed by SPSS15.0 statistic software.Results:1.The expression of MCP-1 and TGF-β1 was higher in primary IgA nephropathy patients than the control group(P<0.01);2.The level of MCP-1 and the degree of Tubulointerstitial damage manifested positive correlation in primary IgA nephropathy patients(r=0.674,P=0.000).3.The level of TGF-β1 and the degree of Tubulointerstitial damage manifested positive correlation in primary IgA nephropathy patients(r=0.636, P=0.000).4.The level of MCP-1 and the level of TGF-β1 manifested positive correlation in primary IgA nephropathy patients(r=0.494,P=0.001).5.The expression of MCP-1 was related to the prognosis of primary IgA nephropathy patients(r=0.347, P=0.033) while the expression of TGF-β1 was not related to the prognosis of primary IgA nephropathy patients(r=0.241,P=0.145)。Conclusion:The expression of MCP-1 and TGF-β1 significantly influence the development of primary IgA nephropathy in children and the expression of MCP-1 and TGF-β1 can suggust the degree of tubulointerstitial damage at the same time.Further researches are needed to explain the relationship between the prognosis of primary IgA nephropathy and the expression of MCP-1 and TGF-β1 in children.
