Objective:(1)To understand the distribution of risk factors, and analyze the effects of risk factors on Major Malignant Tumor through a survey among Adults in Gushan town, Fuzhou.(2)To adopting the approachs of investigation and provides some nursing countermeasures for community-based nursing current status of the behavioral risk factors with major malignant tumor.Methods: The population aged above 20 years old was sampled by multistage sampling among7 villages and communities from July to November, 2007 in Gushan Town, Fuzhou. Background information was collected by face-to-face interview. All subjects were investigated by uniform questionnaires and methods, using the manner of concentrated and in-door investigation which were combined according to the project of China chronic disease risk factor surveillance.The investigation included questionnaires and physical check-ups.Results: There were 2412 objects were interviewed..The number of the male was 1159, which accounted for 48.1%; the female was 1253, which accounted for 52.0%.Results as follow:(1)The general prevalence rate of current smoking was 20.0%;Smoking began at the average of 19.0.Each smoked about 20.0 cigarettes per day. 14.7% of heavy smokers in giving up smoking. The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that major risk factors influencing current smoking were gender, job, education level, monthly income and drinking. And The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that major risk factors influencing giving up smoking were age, longer time of smoking cigarette and prevalence of disease.(2)The general prevalence rate of current drinking was 28.6%, and drinking began at the average of 20.0(SD 6.0). 34.2% drinkers drank once or more a day. Beer was the main choice in Gushan town. 86.8% drinkers choose one kind of wines. The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that major risk factors influencing drinking were age,gender,education level and smoking. (3)The prevalence of unregular exercise was 28.4% and 66.3% of persons often take only one type.The top 3 most common exercises in this population were walking, Tai Chi (including other slow movement exercises) and running.A lack of time has been the most important barrier to participation in physical exercise. The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that major risk factors influencing regular exercise were age.(4)11.4% of the residents were used to high-lipid diet,16.0% of the residents were used to salted diet, The major risk factors influencing poor eating habits were age and gender.(5) There were 827 women answered these questions. The overall prevalence was 40.7% for breast examinations and 32.2% for Papanicolaou smears.; The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that major risk factors influencing breast examinations were age, education level and health care system,and influencing papanicolaou smears were age, and education level.(6) The overall prevalence was 26.0% for overweight and 7.1% for obesity. The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that major risk factors influencing overweight were sex , age and marital status,and influencing obesity were occupation and education level.(7)Comprehensive analysis of behaviorial status of health showed that one type of risk behaviors occurred in 10.5% of the residents.Conclusions: Distribution of behavior risk facto(rinclude smoking,drinking, lack of exercise, poor eating habits,breast examinations and papanicolaou smears, overweight and obesity) is difference between the populations of different characteristic feature..According to the three-level prevention strategy of disease, for rural-urban fringe residents,we should adopt counter measures and set up scientific life-style and healthy behavior to improve our live quality and decline the level of the risk factors.
