People who have heard STD can not answer the symptoms, prevention and therapy of STD,which reflects that there is a scarcity of knowledge at scope and depth.82.6% have heard HIV/AIDS,the correct answer ratio of HIV transmission ways is from 76.9%to 86.5%,55.8%people have answered HIV transmission ways correctly and entirely. The correct answer ratio of HIV non-transmission ways is from 8.6%to 32.7%,6.0%people have answered HIV non-transmission ways correctly and entirely. Only 3.8%people have answered HIV transmission ways and HIV non-transmission ways correctly and entirely. On the whole, the man's awareness ratio is higher than the woman's,the young's is higher than the older's,the Han people's is higher than Yi people's,the unmarried's is higher than the married's,the higher level culture's is better than the low's,the non-peasant occupation's is higher than the peasant's,the going out for a work's is higher than the non- going out for a work's,the higher income's is better than the low income's.3.The attitude about STD or HIV/AIDS: Towards the people who have infected STD or HIV,the local residents have some stigma attitude. There exists a certain degree of tolerance towards the man's/woman's sex behavior before marriage or extramarital marriage, moreover, man is more tolerated towards the man's/woman's sex behavior before marriage or extramarital than woman.4.Correlated dangerous behaviors:There exist dangerous behaviors about HIV/AIDS,such as sexual behavior before marriage or extramarital, many sex partners, using drugs and man sex with man.The usage of condom with the fixed sex partners is low,but the usage of condom with commercial sex worker/temporary sex partner is higher.Conclusion:1.Economy and traffics fall behind;information is obstructive in the frontier rural community.2.The local residents' culture level is low, their awareness ratio about STD and HIV/AIDS is not high.3.They have stigma attitude to people who infect STD/HIV.4.Meanwhile,the community residents have some dangerous actions also.5.Additionally,population with flowing and backward level of medical treatment, result in HIV spreading among the population. Therefore, according to the characters of the community, making intervention measures which are suitable to the local community, building community support environment, utilizing community resources thoroughly, raising awareness ratio about HIV/AIDS,reducing stigma about HIV/AIDS,improving their health belief, then changing the local residents' dangerous behaviors.
