Microanatomy Of Cerebellopontine Cistern

Objective: To study the microanatomy of cerebellopontine cistern and it's internal structure . To provide the anataomical data for neurosurgery.Methods: The head of Cadaveric specimens of 6 cases (12 sides) ,with 10% formalin fixated,were infused to it's arteries and viens systems with red or blue colours silicon rubber via internal carotid atery and vertebal arrery and jugular vein. Form mesencephalon to remove cerebral hemisphere, remained intergrity tentorium of cerebellum,third,fourht,fifth,craninal nerve。The cerebellopontine cistern and it's internal structure were studied under the surgical microscope with 3～24 times. The pictures were collected figure camera, marked with image manipulation software.Results: Cerebellopontine cistern was covered with demilune and quadrangular of cerebellum. It's top is below the tentorial and adjacent cisterna ambiens.It's lateral part wrap up ganglion of trigeminal nerve.It"s inferior part entered internal acoustid pore. Anterior inferior cerebellar artery(AICA) and labyrinth artery, petrosal vein ,cranial nerve V,VII,VIII, through the Cerebellopontine cistern. The data of bulk of all structure's measurements were in normal limits.The majonity relation of structure were constancy.A few occurrenced differentiation.Conclusions: The most of cerebellopontine cistern and internal structure were normal.A few were differentiation.To prehension various data make for clinical work. But all of works should not depend on data. Should to plenitudinous the relations of each other the structure and anatomy signal. To elevate surgical technic and to lower operation complication have significant practical value.
