Objective:By comparing the gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) group, impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) group and normal pregnancy (NGT) group of serum resistin level, as well as with insulin resistance (IR) and lipid metabolism in the relevance to explore the incidence of resistin in GDM mechanism for the role. Methods:Research subjects will be divided into three groups: GDM group (23 cases), IGT group (16 cases), NGT group (25 cases). Determination of 3 groups of pregnant women 75g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) in each time point blood glucose, insulin and fasting serum resistin, triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC) level. Resistin dual anti-sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) determinat- ion; blood glucose determination using glucose oxidase method; insulin using ELISA method. At the same time, IR and the function of the pancreatic island were assessed by the homeostasis model insulin resistance index ( HOMA-IRI ) and homeostasisβ-cell function index(HBCI). Carried out among the three groups significant test. Results:(1)The FINS in GDM group and IGT group was significantly higher than NGT group(P<0.01),and GDM group was significantly higher than the IGT group(P<0.01).(2)GDM Group HOMA-IRI was significantly higher than IGT group and the NGT group(P<0.01),and GDM group and the IGT group HBCI index were lower than the NGT group(P<0.01).(3)Resistin level in GDM group was significantly higher than IGT group and the NGT group(P<0.01),GDM Group FPG was significantly higher than NGT group, but had no significant difference with the IGT group, GDM group TC,TG were also higher than in IGT group and the NGT group(P<0.01),TC between NGT and IGT group have no significant difference(P>0.05).(4)Correlation analysis showed that: resistin level and BMI, FPG ,TC and TG were positively correlated(r=0.562,0.681,0.493,0.620,P<0.05).With FINS, HOMA-IRI was a significant positive correlation(r=0.723,0.889,P<0.01).With HBCI has found no correlation(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)GDM pregnant women exist obvious insulin resistance and pancreaticβ-cell secretory function is impaired.(2)GDM women serum resistin level was significantly increased, and the level of resistin and insulin levels and IR was positively correlated, suggesting that resistin may be involved in the formation of GDM women IR.(3)Resistin in GDM women with disordered lipid metabolism indicators were positively correlated, suggesting that GDM women's high level of resistin is closely related to its formation of lipid metabolism. |
