Current Investigation Of Ischemic Stroke Performance Measures

Objective:To describe the current station of stroke disease-specific care performance measures in our department and analyse the possible causes of the non-standardized.Methods:The clinical data of 470 cases in our hospital from jaunary 2008 to december 2008 were analysed retrospectively.,these data include age,sex,deep vein thrombosis prophylaxis, discharged on antithrombotic therapy,patients with atrial fibrillation/flutter receiving anticoagulation therapy,tissue plasminogen activator(t-PA) considered,antithrombotic medication within 48 hours of hospitalization,Lipid Profile,Screen for Dysphagia,Stroke Education,Smoking Cessation,assessed for Rehabilitation.Results:There were 305 male patients and 165 female patients in 470 brainin farction patients.The mean age was 64.13 years.An increase in rate of stroke disease-specific care performance measures was respectively53.1%,96.2%,57.1%,66.7%(primary rate),15.0% (secondry rate),95.7%,59.6%,91.1%,80.2%,18.9%,34.9%.Conclusion:There were great improvement in deep vein thrombosis prophylaxis,discharged on antithrombotic therapy and antithrombotic medication within 48 hours of hospitalization of stroke disease-specific care performance measures in our department.
