Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Prolapse Of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc By Electro-acupuncture On Jiaji Xue

Objective:A clinical observation research to the therapeutic efficacy on treatment of Clinical observation on treatment of prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc by electro-acupuncture on Jia Ji points.This study is to provide a clinical foundation and standardize set of acupuncture points for acupuncture treatment of prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc.Method:60 participants who were prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc diagnosed patients being invited to join in the study.They were randomly picked to form two different categories:the Treatment Group(30 participants) and the Control Group(30 participants).The application of the dominant needles in the Treatment Group:; electro-acupuncture on Jiaji xue,whereas in the Control Group:The regular points for lumbar pain.The whole clinical experiment contains 3 treatments,treating 3 courses of treatment or 9 times continuously.Afterward,our result analysis are to be carrying out.The "prolapse of lumbar interverbral disc Symptoms and Function Evaluation Scale(ES PID)" and "The Standard of TCM Diseases and Symptoms Therapeutic Effect" are used in the measurement of therapeutic results.Result:1.The results analysis based on "The Standard of TCM Diseases and Symptoms Therapeutic Effect":out of the total 60 participants(patients),the Treatment Group(30 participants) showed that 23 of them were totally recovered,7 claimed to have significant improvement.The total effective ratio was 76.6%. The Control Group(30 participants) result showed that 7 participants were totally recovered,18 claimed to have significant improvement,5 claimed the treatment effective.The total effective ratio was 23%.That indicates the Treatment Group did better than the Control Group.2.The results base on ESCV:The average score of therapeutic effect in Treatment Group was 14.5±2.2,and the average score of therapeutic effect in Control Group was 8.5±3.1.The average score of therapeutic effect seems to be significantly higher in the Treatment Group than that of the Control Group(P< 0.01).Conclusion:The results analysis based on "proplapse of interverbral disc Symptoms and Function Evaluation Scale(ES PID)" and "The Standard of TCM Diseases and Symptoms Therapeutic Effect" reveal that the therapeutic efficacy of treatment formula conducting on Treatment Group is higher than that of on the Control Group.A significant improvement has been revealed to the symptom of vertigo on that of Treatment Group too.To sum up,the therapeutic efficacy of treating prolapse of interverbral disc by electro-aucpuncture on Jia Ji is batter than that of abstention from regular points.This indicates that we could achieve a better therapeutic result in treating Prolapse of interverbral disc treatment by electro-acupuncture on Jia Ji.
