Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect of an integrated therapy of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture for treating Eczema.Methods:40 cases were randomly assigned to two groups:20 cases in herb-acupuncture group(therapeutic group) and 20 in simple herb group(control group).Clinical data before and after and treatment were carefully observed,and were assessed by the statistical model of average±Standard deviation,χ~2 test was employed to analyze the non-graded data,analysis of variance and t test were employed to analyzed the graded data.Results:The total effective rate of therapeutic group was 95%.Statistical difference was detected in comparison of symptomatic effect of rash morphology from the two groups(x~2=4.80,P =0.0.028).The observation indicated that after half-year treatment,the average clinical pathology scores of eczema reduced in therapeutic group,which was significantly different from that of the control group.Conclusion:The integrated therapy of herbal medicine and Acupuncture had better effect than the simple herb group for improving the rash morphology of Eczema.
