The Medical Field And Habitus In Guan Village

This dissertation inspected specifically the medical historical vicissitude and folk medical condition of a south village over a half century. This dissertation take a village in Hunan Mt. Area as case and take rural and individual doctor as main line, discussing medical vicissitude of Chinese southern countryside and the medical habitus since the collapse of barefoot doctor system. The viewpoint from medical sociology and the medical anthropology is integrated to dissect these medical habitus and to analysis folk medical operation process in countryside,in order to reveal its unique practice logic and the mechanism which is reproducted and transformed, and to excavate all sorts of secrets of the folk medical operation during the social reforming time in countryside.This dissertation tries hardly to reflect the time and vicissitude from the dynamic change form in the medical field, and wish to provide some reference to the new round medical reform.
