| Purpose:To establish a set of scientific and practical index system on doctors' comprehensive quality and efficiency assessment;to explore the method to evaluate the doctors all-sidedly;to develop assessment software to provide the scientific basis and method for administrators to reasonably apply and manage physicians and surgeonsMethods:This project,first of all,analyzed the current condition of assessment system on doctors at home and abroad through documentary-review method.Then the sensitive and representative key indexes were selected and weight distributions of all class indexes were established.And last the assessment index system was applied to clinical doctors from two departments.SAS statistic software was employed to deal and calculate and analyze the data.Results:The first class index of the system,consists of three indexes of basic quality, medical work and outstanding ness,10 indexes of the second class and 44 indexes of the third classes were chosen to cover doctors' work involved.The assessment method was studied to ensure the standardization of the doctor's work load and the integral way with each index.A set of software system was developed to record and calculate data conveniently and the statistical results can be easily analyzed with the system. The system can be flexibly set up indexes to meet the needs of the users.A comparison study was made to the scores,majors,academic degrees and titles of the 39 surgeons and physicians,then the causes of the differences were found out.Discussion:The establishment of the assessment system can guarantee to improvement of the work efficiency and medical quality;can provide the bases for the aspects of the talent promotion,award-giving,work arranging,talent structure adjusting and evaluation among courses;can provide the guidance for improvement and adjustment of doctors themselves.The index system is available to assessment on doctors of all classes of hospitals and gains a brilliant prospects.
