A Study For The Clinical Applications Of The Purse String With Silk Thread In The Internal Fixation For The Treatment Of Patella Fractures

Objective:The aim of this article was to research the patella fraeture and to deeply investigate curative effects of the clinical application of the purse string with silk thread in internal fixation for patella fractures.Methods:Prototols of 64 cases corresponding with quantitative standards of patellar fracture of symptoms and signs and undergoing patellar fracture in two years at the Orthopedics Hospital of LiBingWen in Huhehot city used two different treatment methods.Silk thread group:34 cases applied on the internal fixation with silk thread to patella fractures.Tension band group:30 cases treating with tension band steel-wire fixation for the treatment of patella fracture. After the surgery,taked LiShi bone-reunion powder of tradition Chinese drugs oral,fumigated and washed in the water of herbs,dirigated can be employed as combined treatments.The follow-up visitation of six months had been made on 64 case of patella fractures.According to XuShaoTing's criterion appraisaling the curative effect in the surgery latter three months and six months and statistical analysis,compareing two group of bone fracture replacements,Knee joint sphere of action and function,overall curative effect appraisal of patellar fracture.Results:1.Compared the silk thread group with tension band group bone fracture replacement,silk thread group bone fracture replacement gains an advantage the tension band group.2.Obtained overall curative effect appraisal after three months of the surgery:the tension band group of fine rate surpassed the silk thread group: Contrasted with knee joint sphere of action in mean value of samples,the tension band group made an advantage the silk thread group.Knee joint function of samples in mean value,after three months of the surgery,the tension band group excelled the silk thread group.③The tension band group of overall curative effect,after three months of the surgery months of the surgery,surpassed the silk thread group.3.Obtained overall curative effect appraisal after six months of the surgery: Fine silk thread group rate and non-tension-band group:①contrasted with knee joint sphere of action in mean value of samples,the silk thread group made an advantage the tension band group.②knee joint function of samples in mean value,after six months of the surgery,P＞0.05,no statistically significant,there were no significant differences between the silk thread group and the tension band group after therapy.③The silk thread group of overall curative effect,after six months of the surgery,surpassed the tension band group.Conclusion:The purse string with silk thread in the internal fixation may improve the replacement of Patella fraeture.After three months of the surgery in knee joint sphere of action,the knee joint function and the overall curative effect are inferior to the tension band.Suturing with the silk thread have following merits:the purse string with silk thread in the internal fixation enables the transverse,the oblique and the comminuted patella fraeture to achieve good to the position and the fixation;possesing the fine histocompatibility;After the bone fracture heals,the fixtures are not taked in the second surgery to removal,avoidance damaging the organization and the surgery pain again:"concise,convenient,effective,cheap" are among the special feature of the Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Orthopedics.
