The Clinical Effects Observation Of Electroacupuncture On Acute Gouty Arthritis Patients

Objective:Through acute gouty arthritis's clinical research,to object the evaluation of efficacy of electro-acupuncture,and further optimize the clinical treatment of gouty arthritis of new electro-acupuncture therapy program.Methods:In this study,selected patients with acute gouty arthritis 66 cases,there are six cases of failure to adhere to the treatment of withdrawal from.the study,all patients came to the Chinese 202 People's Liberation Army hospital from January 2008 to May 2009.who are out-patient clinics and hospitalized patients.Admission by the order in which they were randomly divided into three groups:control groupⅠ(Chinese Medicines), the control groupⅡ(Filiform needle group),treatment group(EA group). Each of them has 20 cases.Seven days for a course.Before and after the treatments the symptoms and serum uric acid points should be recorded. When finished the treatment course,to observe the three groups' clinical effects,and record the patient's serum uric acid and the signs and symptoms. Dealing patients' symptoms and serum uric acid points with statistical analysis.Results:(l)Compared the pain points:compared each pain points group of gouty arthritis before and after treatment,the results are statistically significant(P＜0.05);Electro-acupuncture group and the Chinese Medicines Board.Filiform needle group were significantly meaning(P＜0.05):(2) Comparison of swelling degree:in each group of gouty arthritis joint swelling degree of the improvement points before and after treatment are statistically significant compared(P＜0.05); Electro-acupuncture group and the Chinese Medicines Board.Filiform needle group were significantly significance(P＜0.05),prompted by electro-acupuncture group obtained the best:(3) Compared the points of activation:each group of patients with joint activities to improve the degree of integration before and after treatment were statistically significant(P＜0.05);Electro-acupuncture group and the Chinese Medicines Board.Filiform needle group are significantly meaning(P＜0.05);(4) Comparison of serum uric acid:three groups before and after treatment were statistically significant compared(P＜0.05);Electro-acupuncture group and the Chinese Medicines Board.Filiform needle group were significantly meaning.The effect of electro-acupuncture group prompted good(P＜0.05);(5) Comparison of clinical efficacy of three groups:power for acute gouty arthritis have a good effect(P＜0.05)Conclusion:Electroacupuncture can effectively alleviate patients' symptoms such as acute gouty arthritis pain,swelling,heat,and acute gouty arthritis serum uric acid,or even disappear.This shows that the Electroacupuncture for acute gouty arthritis have a good effect,and without any side effects,to facilitate the acceptance of patients is worthy to be popularized.
