Objective: To study the clinical effects of application of autologous drainage blood transfusion in total knee arthroplasty. Methods: In this study, cases were from the Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital subsidiary from September 2006 to December 2008 admitted to the 30 routine Total Knee Arthroplasty in the United States after the use of Stryker produced CBCâ…¡vacuum sealed blood transfusion system autologous drainage blood reinfusion in patients treated. Through the blood of patients with postoperative drainage, transfusion back volume, the volume of allogeneic blood transfusion data were analyzed with a view to explore the autologous blood transfusion of the efficacy, safety and essential hypertension, diabetes patients with autologous drainage blood reinfusion of value, and at the same time of autologous blood transfusion related issues.Results: In this study, all 30 cases of autologous blood in patients with a total drainage blood transfusion accounts for 68.86% of total. Back to all patients with blood transfusion and no case arising in the course of shivering, fever, hemolysis, such as adverse reactions. Hypertension, diabetes on the blood of patients with postoperative drainage, transfusion volume to the impact of no significant (P> 0.05). Preoperative and postoperative day 1 the number of red blood cells, hemoglobin and hematocrit were significantly different (P <0.05), the first seven days after the resumption of near normal.Conclusion: Citation autologous blood transfusion in Total Knee Arthroplasty surgery is safe and effective, can be effective in reducing allogeneic blood input, avoid complications, it should be worthy of further promoting use.
