AIM:Alzheimer's disease(Alzheimer,s disease,AD) is a kind of happened during the early old age or old age of a chronic progressive neurodegenerative disease.It is a common,frequently-occurring disease.The pathological changes are mainly the cerebral cortex, hippocampus,basal ganglia,such as atrophy,a variety of neurons, especially cholinergic neurons of the primary variability,from the formation of amyloid deposition in senile plaques and neurofibrillary tangles,the emergence and an increase.Its primary clinical symptoms are intelligence,memory,sensory-oriented capabilities,sense,language,thinking ability of irreversible degradation carried out,and there is often accompanied by personality changes,and its incidence increases with age.At present,for the clinical treatment of AD there is no specific drug therapy is generally used to improve cognitive function and brain metabolism of some to promote the drug to control symptoms,but it does not slow down or to save the large variety of neurons, especially cholinergic neurons The primary element degeneration. So,look for a safe,innovative,convenient and economical treatment method has become the urgent need for the treatment of AD.In recent years,acupuncture AD due to better improve the cognitive function status,and non-toxic side effects,improve the overall quality of life in patients with certain advantages,and has as a unique,safe,convenient way to have more and more of the treatment of many Clinical applied to obtain a more positive effect.
