Observe The Therapeutic Effect Of Budesonide And Formoterol Fumarate Powder For Combined Inhalation On 30 Patients With Bronchial Asthma

Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of inhaled budesonide and formoterol fumarate powder(Symbicort turbuhaler) on adult bronchial asthma.Methods 30 patients with mild-to-moderate asthma were treated with either budesonide/formoterol,160ug/4.5ug(Symbicort Turbuhaler,AstraZeneca,Lund, Sweden),two inhalations,twice a day,12 weeks.Furthermore,it could be used in according with acquirement if symptoms were poorly controlled.Observe the change of clinical symptoms,undesirable effects and pulmonary function[FEV₁(forced expiratory volume in one second),FEV₁%(in FEV₁ predictive volume%),PEF(peak expiratory flow),PEF%(in PEF predictive volume%)]before treatment and 4 and 12 weeks after treatment.Results Combined inhalation with ICS and LABA is optimal choice for asthma which can improve clinical symptoms and pulmonary ventilation function and reduce airway hyperreactivity,showing significant difference after treatment(p<0.01).The results showed that the lung function of patients were improved after inhalation treatment,the longer inhalation treatment,the better.Conclusions Inhaled Symbicort turbuhaler can yield better symptom control and lung function improvement for mild-to-moderate asthma with better adherence and minimal adverse effects.
