Objective To investigate the the general situation,clinical characteristics of undifferentiated spondy loarthropathy with heberden nodes.Methods 25 patients of undifferentiated spondy loarthropathy with heberden nodes for the first visit to our rheumatism department from January 2005 to march 2008 were collected. Retrospectively analyzed their clinical data.Results 1.The patients of undifferentiated spondy loarthropathy with heberden nodes were older whose mean age was 54.64 years.The female and male ratio was 7.3:1.The course of disease was long which mean was 7.64 years.2.The manifestations of the patients were variable.13 had inflammatory waist pain,12 had asymmetric peripheral joint pain,11 had tendon attachment point inflammation.Of the 8 cases with dry mouth and dry eye symptoms,Only one was diagnosed as sjogren's syndrome.This group of patients showed mild symptoms and did not present eye inflammation,urinary tract and gastrointestinal symptoms.3. Rheumatoid factor of all patients was negative.SSA(52KD) of 2 patients was positive.4.Of 22 cases who did HLA-B27 test,1 case was positive,1 case was questionable and 20 cases were negative.Conclusion 1.The patients of undifferentiated spondy loarthropathy with heberden nodes were older.2.This group of patients showed mild symptoms,and the patients ofμSpA could coexist with other rheumatic diseases.3.The patients of undifferentiated spondy loarthropathy with heberden nodes have lower positive frequency of HLA-B27.
