DR(Diabetic Retinopathy) is the main retina vascular disease which causes severe destruction to visual function.Recently,the study on physiodissection, constitutionpathology,clinical therapy,prognosis,Chinese medicine patho-logical mechanism and disease form have gardually further developments all the world.Because the pathogenesis of DR has not been fully clarified,the treatment don't yet achieve a breakthrough.The paper introduces experiment on rats to observe effect which is acupuncture and ligustrazine iontophoresis or Xiaomengling on treating DR.PartⅠLiterature ResearchThe paper treat of the evolvements on name,etiology,pathogenesis, prevention,herbs cure and experiment on DR clinic in TCM.The pathogenesis is a deficiency of both qi and yin,gore and congestion of vessels.It' s therapy mainly take measures in nourishing qi,nourishing yin and activating blood.Reference to domestic and foreign literature,the paper reviews the pathogenesis and treatment of DR and referring the envisage of this study.PartⅡClinic ResearchObjective:Evaluate the effect of acupuncture and ligustrazine iontophoresis combined with Chinese medicine on treating DR.Method:Retrospectively collect 66 DR patient cases in our hospital.42 cases treat with acupuncture and ligustrazine iontophoresis based on Chinese medicine(A),the other 24 cases only treat by Chinese medicin(B).All patients control blood suger.CTM:Take measures in nourishing qi,nourishing yin and activating blood,reducing phlegm;Electrical control drug iontophoresis with DY a multi-functional eye therapeutic apparatus,import ligustrazin:40mg/4-mL, eye pillow method,cathode,once/20min,adjust electric current accord with the tolerance of patients,commonly 1mA;Body acupuncture:jingming,qiuh- ou,cuan zhu,sizhukong,hegu,sanyinjiao points and so on,once or twice a day,10 days for one treatment.Result:The total effective rate of A group is 78.0%,NDR is 91.30%,PDR is 61.1%;The total effective rate of B group is 57.40%,NDR is 62.9%,PDR is 25.0%.Conclusion:Analysed the result of treatment,the visual activities of the treat group are better than the control group' s(p＜0.05).The effect is notable in non-increment stage and deep non-increment stage.So the treat group alleviate retinal abnormality.PartⅢExperiment ResearchObjecttive:Observe the effect of acupuncture and ligustrazine iontophoresis on DM rats.Method:Randomly divide 42 rats established diabete(DM) by streptozotocin (STZ) into diabetes mellitus(DM)group(9 rats),acupuncture and ligustrazine iontophores group(14 rats)(C),low-dose treatment of xiaomengling group(9)(D) and High-dose treatmen t of xiaomengling group(10)(E).At the same time,blank group(10)(F) for comparison.Result:Group C:①Compared with DM group,the rats in C group put on weight after the forth week(P＜0.05)②Blood sugar of A group is the same as DM group (P＞0.05);③Compared with DM group,the rats in A group reduce MDA in plasma (P＜0.05),increased SOD(P＜0.05).④Effectively protect retinal capillaries and improve optical receptor function.Group D and E:①Compared with DM group,the rats in E group put on weight after the fifth week(P＜0.05)②Blood sugar of A group is the same as DM group (P＞0.05);③Compared with DM group,the rats in A group reduce MDA in plasma (P＜0.05),increased SOD(P＜0.05).④Specifically group E,protect retinal capillaries and improve optical receptor function.Conclusion:Acupuncture and ligustrazine iontophoresis take part of overall regulate action.Reduce MDA in plasma;increase activity of SOD in red cells;remove free radicals;improve the antioxidant capacity.So as to improve the retinal microcirculation to alleviate the anoxemic state of retina and get the prevention and treatment effect for DR.
