Survey On Reproductive Health Of Female Floating Population In Rural Area, Changzhou

Reproductive health is the foundation of the human beings and development. It's one of the most important indices for assessing a nation's economic development and social advancement. As a result of a social transformation, the mobile population is a special group, which deserves our full attention and investigation. And the reproductive health situation of the female mobile population, who takes the responsibility of reproduction, should be viewed with more concern. The author, with the theory and research technique of sociology discusses and analyzes the situation and the relevant factors of female mobile population.The investigation, based on the theoretical perspective of equity in health, selects the X town of Changzhou and carries out a description analysis of the reproductive health situation of the female mobile population with general use of the questionnaire and literature survey methodology. The survey results show that the female mobile population has a lot of problems in reproductive health situation. These problems are caused by multiple factors. The first factor is system, including lack of financial input, artificial division of the household registration system, inadequate social security system and so on. The second factor is culture, including the impact of traditional ethical and birth culture. The third factor is personal situation, such as education, income level, marital status and so on. Finally, several targeted recommendations and proposals are raised through examining how the theory of equity in health is used in improving female mobile population's reproductive health.
