Objective: To predict the expression of estrogen receptor (ER),progesterone receptor (PR) and Her-2 through the features of mammography. Methods: Study the relationship between the calcification, spiculation sign, lesion density, local blood vessels and partial enlarged lymph nodes in the mammography of 341 patients with breast cancer and the expression of ER,PR and C-erbB-2 by immunohistochemical method. Usingχ2 test to decide the correlation of them with SPSS10.0 software,P <0.05 is statistical significance. Results: In the 341 cases of breast cancer patients with X-ray mammography for this study high-density mass performance were seen in 251 cases (73.6%), non-high density in 66 cases (26.7%); there were 150 cases which had calcification (43.9%), without calcification were 191 cases (56.1%); tumor edge burr were found in 98 (28.7%), no burr levy were 243 cases (71.3%); there were 39 cases with partial enlarged blood vessels (11.4%), and without local vascular thickening were 302 cases (88.6%); with the local lymph nodes were 87 cases (25.5%), no lymph nodes were 254 cases (74.5%).231 (67.7%) cases were ER positive, and 110 cases (32.3%) were ER negative. There are 82 ER positive patients in the spicule group, the ER positive percentage is significantly higher in the spicule group than non- spicule group(P<0.05). The number of ER positive cases in the high-density group, calcification group, vascular thickening group and partial enlarged lymph nodes group were 176, 104, 23 and 60 respectively. There was no significant difference between them(P> 0.05).252 (73.9%) cases were PR positive, and 89 cases (26.1%) were PR negative. There are 82 PR positive patients in the spicule group, the PR positive percentage is significantly higher in the spicule group than non- spicule group(P<0.05). The number of PR positive cases in the high-density group, calcification group, vascular thickening group and partial enlarged lymph nodes group were 189, 111, 26 and 65 respectively. There was no significant difference between them(P>0.05).87 (25.5%) cases were C-erbB-2 positive, and 254 cases (74.5%) were C-erbB-2 negative. There are 16 C-erbB-2 positive patients in the spicule group, the C-erbB-2 positive percentage is significantly higher in the spicule group than non- spicule group(P<0.05). There are 30 C-erbB-2 positive patients in the partial enlarged lymph nodes group, the C-erbB-2 positive percentage is significantly higher in the partial enlarged lymph nodes group than without lymph nodes group(P<0.05). The number of C-erbB-2 positive cases in the high-density group, calcification group, vascular thickening group were 64, 46, 12 respectively. There was no significant difference between them(P> 0.05).Conclusion: The appearance of breast cancer on Mo-target X-ray images may be used to predict the expression of ER, PR and C-erbB-2 in breast cancer, and provide a basis for judging for clinical treatment and prognosis of breast cancer .
