This research is a horizontal structure study on the group structure of heads of the clinical department of the hospital affiliated with a military medical university, including the external structure, such as age, education, academic tiles and learning origin structure, and the inner structure such as the personality, quality, ideology, knowledge and capability.The group of heads of clinical departments is the mainstream force in the work and management of hospitals affiliated with the military medical university. They are both the directors and combatants. Meanwhile, they are undertaking the hard work of medical care, teaching, research and management of the department. Therefore, a reasonable group structure of leaders of clinical department plays a vital part in the development of the department, as well as the whole hospital. Basing on the relative studies in recent years, and by considering the group of clinical heads of the hospitals affiliated a military medical university, the author has applied various research methods to building up an idealized group structure conforming to the current development of clinical heads of the hospitals of the military medical university. The author has made an extensive sampling investigation on the current situation of the group structure of heads in the hospitals affiliated with a military medical university and obtained a large amount of data. Then the evaluation analysis on the status quo has been made on the basis of the statistics analysis. In the end, the main existing problems and reasons have been put forwards and the strategies in terms of talents exchanges, competition and management mechanism good for talents optimization of the hospitals are given.The article falls into the five following parts:The first part mainly discusses the importance of the heads of clinical departments and the group structure of heads in performance of hospitals affiliated with the military medical university. The necessity of the research on the group structures of clinical heads of the hospitals affiliated with the military medical university on the background of international competition after China's entering into WTO is explained. The research development and tendency both in the country and overseas is introduced. The purpose and significance, research object, steps, methods and strategies are also stated in this part.The second part argues about the relationship among the talents and talents group, and talent group structure and function based on the talent group theory of talents science, and explains the importance of clinical department groups as a special talent group to the function realization. The reasonable group structure is considered useful not only to the realization of group function but also to the optimization of the group. The connotation of group structure of heads of the clinical departments is stated. The group of heads of the clinical department is a dynamic balanced body, which is also introduced in the passage.In the third part, the characteristics of unity of medical work, research and management roles played by the heads of the clinical departments in the hospitals affiliated with a military medical university and requirements for the heads lead the work of the heads to be more comprehensive, systematic and complicated. On the basis of the relative study in recent years, the author has constructed a group structure and its evaluation system which is in line of the development of the heads of the clinical departments in the hospitals affiliated with a military medical university.In the forth part, the present investigation and evaluation on the group structure of the heads of the clinical departments in the hospitals affiliated with a military medical university is given. Basing on the two-level elements of the group structure system of the heads of the clinical departments in the hospitals affiliated with a military medical university, the author has designed an investigation form and carried out the sampling survey and statistics analysis on the age, education, academic tiles and learning origin structure of the heads of the clinical departments. The current existing problems and reasons for the unreasonable group structure of the heads of the clinical departments in the hospitals affiliated with a military medical university are also analyzed and the conclusion is drawn in this article.In the fifth part, the strategies for optimizing the group structure of heads of the clinical departments in the hospitals affiliated with a military medical university are explored. On the basis of the aim of optimizing the group structure of heads of the clinical departments and the status quo, the author has put forwards the idea that the group structure of the heads of the clinical departments should be set up according to the mechanism of reasonable exchange and effective competition and states the importance and role of the mechanism. Meanwhile, the ideal cultivation mechanism of heads of the clinical departments is suggested and the advanced techniques for talent management should be introduced and the evaluation contents should be improved. The timely post analysis and talent resource planning strategies should be made and enhanced so as to optimize the group structure of heads of the clinical departments in the hospitals affiliated with a military medical university...
