Studies On Psychological Intervention On Breast Cancer Patients At Rehabilitation Stage In Community

Objective: To investigate the effect of psychological behavior intervention on self-efficacy, mental health and life quality of breast cancer patients in rehabilitation, and attempt to find effective intervention methods, which provide directions to effectively carry out community work for patients in rehabilitation.Methods: This study selected to take from December 2007 to May 2008 in Harbin Medical University hospital of the five branches of general surgery, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy, and gradually into the community rehabilitation of patients with breast cancer, breast cancer diagnosis in accordance with the standards. 50 cases studied were divided into intervention and control groups, each of the 25 cases, according with the standards and criteria for exclusion. To intervene before the general application of self-efficacy scale (GSES), and the core of the quality of life questionnaire (QLQ-C30) for the two groups of patients for psychological evaluation, control group given routine follow-up, the intervention group in the regular follow-up on the basis of information provided by rehabilitation, to identify adjustments I know, to strengthen the emotional and social support, ease the emotional, psychological training, behavior behavioral intervention, psychological and behavioral intervention 3 months after psychological evaluation, the two groups were compared before and after the intervention in patients with indicators of psychological differences. The database was established by using Epidata 3.0, according to the nature of the data by using t test, chi square test, rank ANOVA conversion, and other statistical methods used SPSS13.0 statistical analysis of the data.Results: 50 subjects were divided into two groups of 25 each. The loss of the experiment 3, in which, as a result of an intervention group was killed and the loss of the remaining 24 in the control group as a result of a transfer condition worsened, an automatic withdrawal from this study, the loss of 2, and the remaining 23. Pre-intervention study of gender, age, educational level, occupation, family income and family support, medical diagnostics, disease, and whether or not the transfer of KPS score, and other variables in the intervention group and control group in the distribution of the difference was not significant ( P> 0.05), comparable to the two groups.Interfere with the implementation of the former self-efficacy in the control group scored 30.22±7.45, self-efficacy intervention group scored 29.17±6.05, psychological intervention self-efficacy before the intervention group scored slightly lower than the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05). After the intervention of the two Groups have varying degrees of increase in intervention group scored higher self-efficacy, the difference was not significant (P> 0.05); analysis of the two groups of subjects before and after the intervention self-efficacy scoring margin, shows that intervention group to enhance self-efficacy scores 2.58±2.76 points, scoring in the control group increased 0.26±1.10 points, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01); intervention in the first two groups QLQ-C30 and the subscale scores in such areas as there was no statistical difference (P> 0.05).Application QLQ-C30 quality of life scale, before and after the implementation of psychological intervention, the study conducted 2nd Test, analysis of psychological intervention on patients with breast cancer quality of life. Rank analysis of variance application conversion method, timing and effect of intervention effects on the quality of life study of the impact analysis, the results showed that the quality of life scale, role function, emotional function, cognitive function, pain and overall quality of life, and so on indicators of the role of the apparent effect of time (P <0.05), while the role of the intervention effect was not obvious (P>0.05), and the effects of time and interaction between the effects of intervention; function of the body, symptoms of fatigue, and other indicators of the time only effect (P <0.05 ). There is no intervention effect (P> 0.05), there is no interaction between the two; and social function, symptoms of nausea and vomiting, and other indicators, the role of intervention effects significantly (P <0.05), did not have time to effect (P> 0.05). There is no interaction between the two. Psychological intervention can improve the rehabilitation of breast cancer patients with the level of self-efficacy.Conclusions: Psychological intervention will help to improve the rehabilitation of breast cancer patients with non-performing mental health and enhance the quality of life of patients; in assessing the effect of psychological intervention should be analyzed the effects of time and the effects of intervention interaction. This study on the rehabilitation of breast cancer patients with the use of psychological interventions to improve patient's ability to cope with the disease, and enhanced confidence in the anti-cancer and improve the quality of life of patients, is suitable for use in the community.
