Study On Inpatient Environment And Environmental Evaluation

The last half century is an important period of development in environmental science and ecological science, combinational mode of biology, psychology and sociology as a mode of modern medicine is being accepted by more and more people, hospitals are transforming from a purely medical model to medical care, prevention, care and healing. In addition with the rapid development of China's economy and the improvement of living standards, hospital administrators and patients have a higher demand to the hospital environment. Inpatient departments which are the longest place patients stay in the hospital, is an important component, the quality of hospital environment will be a direct impact on patient treatment and healing results.In this paper, researching the theory of hospital environment and according to characteristics and developing trend of inpatient environment , put forward the concept of healthy inpatient environment. The healthy inpatient environment which is beneficial to treatment and healing for patient,is able to meet hospital patients physical health, but also meet the emotional and mental health patients. It includes efficiency, health, amenity and safety in four dimensions. Based on this concept, analysing and summarizing the content and factors of the four dimensions, built a hospital environmental evaluation system model, and used analytical hierarchy process to determine the weights of indexes.In the practice of evaluation, applied environmental evaluation system model to the built environment and design, and expected some feedback on the design and management of information and technical support.The innovation of this thesis lies this:â‘ From a new perspective of the hospital environment theory, put forward the concept of healthy inpatient environment, defined the elements of the hospital environment.â‘¡Clarified the basic theory of the inpatient environment , which could provide a basis for judgementing the application of the existing hospital environmental evaluation.â‘¢Introduced the method of environmental evaluation into inpatient environment, to combine quantitative and qualitative research.â‘£Focused on practical significance of evaluation system, to do an evaluation practice on pre-design and built environment by combinning subjective evaluation and objective evaluation.This thesis is totally three parts:The first part include introduction, which put forward the background and significance and defined the scope of the study, focused on building a logical structure and research methods.The second part is the main part of the thesis, include chapterâ…¡,chapterâ…¢and chapterâ…£. Chapterâ…¡summed up the hospital environment studies, proposed the concept of healthy inpatient environment. It is part of the pilot study, which provide theoretical support for the next step to establish the evaluation system. Chapterâ…¢based on chapterâ…¡and existing research and methods of evaluation,to build the inpatient environment evaluation system. This chapter build a evaluation system which including two-level indicators of the evaluation and use analytical hierarchy process to determine the weights of various indicators. Chapter IV applied environment evaluation system to practice on phases of programme design and built environment.The third part include conclusion, which is a summary of the thesis and summed up the innovation.
