Partâ… The Expression of RhoA in uterine endometrium during the period of peri-implantation of mouse embryoObjective To investigate the expression and distribution of RhoA during the period of mouse embryo implantation.Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to observe and analyze the expression and and distribution of RhoA in the uterine endometrium during mouse embryo implantation. An image analysis was also performed .Results RhoA was mainly expressed in glandular and luminal epithelium cells of mouse uterus and there is a significant difference between pregnant and non-pregnant mouse. The value of the gray scale of group D4 after fertilization was compared with those of the other groups. There are significant differences between D4 and the other groups (P<0.05). The expression level of RhoA gradually increased with pregnancy development. At D6 of gestation,RhoA was localized in the stroma and glandular epithelium cells .Conclusions RhoA may participate in the period of mouse embryo attachment and implantation. An image analysis was also performed .Results Rho/Rock mRNA was detected in the uterus of D0-7 groups and there is a significant difference between pregnant and non-pregnant mouse.(P<0.05). The relative expression value of the group D4 after fertilization was compared with those of the other groups. There are significant differences between D4 and the other groups (P<0.05). .The expression level of Rho/Rock mRNA gradually increased with embryo implantion and pregnancy development .Conclusions Rho/Rock signaling pathway may participate in the period of mouse embryo attachment and implantation, giving help to the establishment of the endometrial receptivity. It could be possible that Rho/Rock signaling pathway indirectly play an role in the process of embryo outgrowth, differentiation and decidualization of endometrium.
