The malignant tumor, is named the cancer. Currently, the malignant tumor has become one kind of serious harm humanity health in the world. The cancer is a kind of psychosomatic disorders, many scholars think the psychological society factor is the vital role in the cancer occurrence and developing process.Accepted along with the biological - psychology -sociological medicine pattern by the populace, the psychotherapy had been gradually enhances in the complex therapy, the people slowly realize its healing function and the realistic value.Group psychotherapy is one of extremely important methods abou the tumor patient's mental healing. This research is a group psychotherapy for cancer and based Rogers' development phase theory of group psychotherapy. Morita Therapy is one kind of psychology that quite suitable to the Chinese and demonstrated the good treatment results.Adopting individual and rational ways of coping at the entir treatment period should be the question which becomes important and must be solved, one of mental healing goals is provides such help to the patients. This research goal also is so: Helps the patients to find reasonable ways of coping.This research is tried to select 14 patients in the Shanxi Tumor Hos-Pital and divideed into stochastically two groups, tthe experimental group and the control group. The experimental group accepts for the three month experiment processing, total 14 time. The control group in experimental period does not accept any processing. The tools included Life Event Scale, Ways of coping, Self-Rating Anxiety Scale, Self-Rating Depression Scale.The researcher statistics examination on the small sample,analysis the diary and the self- reports of the members, consult member's changes aroung the therapy , tracing investigates the member's changes. The result indicated that,(1) After the experiment, the experimental group anxious, despondent grading obviously is lower than the control group and solves the problem, seeks help factor grading obviously to be higher than the control group.(2) After the treatment, obviously enhanced enthusiasticly and ration -ally to deal with the event for the patients.(3)The tracing investigation indicated that, treats has the longenduring effect to the patients.(4)Applied Morita Therapy in the Group psychotherapy,could change the bad mood, urge to rationaliz ways of coping for the cancer patient's.
