Objective:Observed the clinical anesthesia effect on relieves of biliary colic by needling fei-hou point and furthermore determined the importance of fei-hou pairing points.Method:All 60 subjects were collected from the surgical ER of Jiang-Shu Provincial TCM Hospital.Subjects were randomly divided into two groups of 30.One group was treated with fei-hou point as testing group and another group was treated with gallbladder point as controlled group.All subjects were carefully observed and recorded in regard to relieves of biliary colic.Both VAS pain index and symptom index were also recorded for evaluation.Results:In this study,the testing group significantly demonstrated a higher total effective rate(97%) in compared to the controlled group(80%) with(P<0.01) treatment probability.After the treatment,both groups demonstrated a huge effect in reducing VAS pain index number with total effective rate of 96% and(P<0.01) difference.Overall in this study,fei-hou point showed a better effect in reducing biliary colic pain in compared to gallbladder point.Conclusion:Fei-hou point has a significantly effect in reducing biliary colic pain and its associated symptoms such as nausea,vomiting and right rear shoulder blade pain,etc.Therefore this study demonstrated an alternative way of anesthesia effect to relieve biliary colic pain by acupuncture.
