Object: to observe the influence of Jinyinguanxintang along with pulse-activating decoction on the test animal with acute myocardial ischemia and investigate the curative effect of the method of heat-clearing and detoxifying and benefiting qi and removing blood stasis for treating coronary.Method: Experimental research: the trachea clipped method was used to prepare the model of mice with acute myocardial hypoxia and the disappeared time of ECG of mice was observed. The subcutaneous injection of Iso was used to prepare the model of mice with myocardial hypoxia and the survival time of normobaric hypoxia tolerant in mice was observed. Clinical research: 60 cases of patients with coronary hearts disease were divided into therapeutical group and control group randomly, the former was treated with the Jinyinguanxintang along with pulse-activating decoction and the latter was treated with Nao Xin'an capsule for four weeks, the coronary hearts disease attack, changes of various symptoms of TCM, ECG, blood pressure and safety examination before and after therapy were observed.Result: Jinyinguanxintang along with pulse-activating decoction can obviously delay the disappeared time of ECG of the mice with trachea clipped and the survival time of normobaric hypoxia tolerant in mice with acute myocardial hypoxia induced by Iso. The ability of Jinyinguanxintang along with pulse-activating decoction to delay the survival time of normobaric hypoxia tolerant is better than that of Nao Xin'an capsule (P<0.05).The therapeutical group has advantages of improving various clinical symptoms of coronary heart disease, tongue and pulse conditions and resulting in decreased ischemic changes in ECG, comparing to the control group, P<0.05. This drug has little toxicity and no obvious anaphylaxis or adverse side effect in clinical investigation.Conclusion: Jinyinguanxintang along with pulse-activating decoction has protective effect for acute myocardial hypoxia, whose mechanism may be to promote the hypoxia tolerance and improve the enzymatic activity and energy metabolism of cardiac muscle, resist oxygen free radical injury and prevent lipid peroxidation to protect and stabilize the cardiac muscle cell, which is significant for preventing and curing coronary heart disease.
